I’ve always been that type of mom who never understood the Summer regression and why so many moms despised Summer since kids can act so erratically. I’ve been a stay at home mom for a little more than a year but A goes to part-time pre-k. He would be home by 11 so it was really only a small break. Now that pre-k is over I’ve literally started to drive myself crazy. Knowing we have one thing right when it comes to lunchtime that is quick and essential.
Pizza has always been that quick but yet essential food. Park days, birthday parties or just family days/nights. That’s why everyone loves and is even obsessed with pizza. Pizza (without the cheese) was my sons first solid he ate consistently and has had a love for it ever since.
The Best Lunchtime Meal For Picky Eaters
Red Baron has become a favorite. Knowing you can find a brand that has the right crust is a big plus for me but also for A. Their pizza and crust is just perfect. It’s not too thick and has a flaky layer. They’re even available in 11 different flavors from fan-favorite Pepperoni to Chipotle Chicken. Our favorite is their Pepperoni Classic Crust.
It’s always a classic way to settle down when you feel like you have a win for the day or even night. Now that we’re getting out of the almost toddler phase. A just turned five this month. He still has his spouts of picky eating. Knowing that there are a few essential foods he will definitely eat. For example, while on vacation, park days, library runs or even just dining out. One actual food he sticks to is pizza.
We’ve had times where we would be at home and ask A would he would like. He would say I don’t know or say he wants something specific. Long behold you cook a meal and he just doesn’t eat it. No matter what time of year.
