Healthy Smoothie To Start The New Year

This year I’m trying something new. It sounds cliche but I’m aiming to be more healthy. Not just for me but for my family. Since having trouble losing weight for the past two years due to having Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome its been a battle.  I decided to at least drink a homemade smoothie 3x a week to start off. I haven’t started using protein to add but it will be something I will be adding soon. My love for smoothies started in college. The mall nearby the University had a Java Juice and that’s where I fell in love. I’ve been constructing my own random smoothies.

This smoothie contains banana’s, berries and yogurt.


  1. 1/2 cup of Almond Milk
  2. 1/2 cup of Vanilla Yogurt
  3. 1/2 cup of Berries (frozen or fresh)
  4. 1 whole banana or you can use a frozen banana

I’ve been using a Nutribullet RX Extractor. I’ve used the regular Nutri Bullet and this one doesn’t do justice.
