It is still technically Summer but once Labor Day approaches Fall is practically here. This is especially true for us here in New England. Last weekend it was literally in the 70’s. My type of weather. It’s also my favorite time of year. In between fashion, food and attractions you can visit in New England, it just becomes so much fun. Mann Orchards has always been a great place to visit when it comes to their farm store and bakery.
This past weekend was the official opening for their corn maze at their second location; Riverside Farm and it was a great time. Plus being one that never has gone to a corn maze it was pretty exciting. We invited my brother to come because A is always talking about him. He was even sad he had to go home in the end. Its the cutest the way their relationship is.
Even though it was opening weekend and I attended on Labor Day it was not heavily congested which was great.
Arrival:
Once we arrived we received our wristbands and it was pretty set in stone then. Upon entering they had the cutest painted pumpkins. Of course A wanted one. I was able to get out of that one quick.
They have two small food stands so if you get thirsty or want a small bite to eat you can. Plus they had the best apple cider, kettle korn, cider donuts, caramel apples and their home made root beer. Fall isn’t complete without apple cider or Apple Crisp.
Main Attraction:
The corn maze was obviously most fun of all. Of course A had to lead the way. At first I was worried if you ever get caught in but they had check point with staff so they direct you to where you need to be.
Activities
There were tons of activities for the kids and A had a blast. They even had a huge sandbox. He’s obsessed with the one we have at home so he was loving it. He was afraid to feed the animals in the petting zoo but he still thought they were the cutest.
Hayride:
The hayride was the second to the best part. The tractor went around the whole farm. You were able to see all the produce, bees, outgoing water and new land they are seeding. You’re even able to stop and pick a mini pumpkin which is a great gift to the kids. A was so excited to take it home and paint it.
As a parent of a child who gets overly sensitive, and who has ADHD it’s always important to find public places that aren’t hugely over packed. Mann Orchards was a great place for A.
Mann’s Maze will be open from September 9th-October 31st open daily Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-6pm.
Cost: Admission is $10 for weekdays and $14 on weekends. Children under 2 are free.
*Special Flash Light Nights* Make your way through Mann’s Maze during the evening every Friday & Saturday starting 9/22 from 6pm-10pm. Bring a flash light or purchase one at the farm.
Thank you Mann Orchards for a fun filled day.

Oh my goodness, I forgot it’s that time for corn mazes! I can’t wait to take the kids to our corn maze!
It was definitely a fun time.
This is the perfect fall activity! Love that there was so much more to do than just pick a pumpkin. Great pictures and video, too!
Looks like fun! Thanks for sharing!
No problem. Thank you for reading.
So fun! What a cute soda fountain wagon!
It was. They had their own version of Root Beer.
We are going there on Saturday and now I am even more excited to go now that I saw all your pics! Glad you guys had fun – it sounds like a blast there.
That looks so fun! I can’t wait for all the fun fall activities. 🙂
Fall is definitely our favorite time of year.
What a great place to visit during the fall. We have something similar that we visit every year during the month of October. Living in Florida, we have to drive a couple of hours to get there, but it’s totally worth it.
Hope all went well your way. Fall is great way to get in activities especially for the littles.
What a fun place to visit! Wish I lived closer! I’m sure the kids would never want to leave! Well I wouldn’t either. 😉
It was super fun. I’m sure you have one close by to you.
So fun! Looks like a family fun activity and like you all had a great time. The fall season is great for going outdoors since the weather is cooling off.
I love your pictures! It looks like you had a fun time! I’ve never tried cider donuts but have to say those sound amazing!
My son is a huge donut feen but doesn’t like them. Me on the other hand. I love them.
Looks like fun!
They have some places like Mann Orchards here in Los Angeles. Visiting there is such a great fall activity. It is so much fun and seems perfect for kids. Love that pic of all the decorated pumpkins!
I love the painted pumpkins. I’m not talented when it comes to painting so that would be something I would love to buy.
Haha me too.
We love visiting orchards here, too. Some of the same activities and look, which is so cool to think we are having similar experiences but living in different places!
It’s a fun place to take the kids to. I’m pretty sure my 6 year old will have loads of fun here. I love that they have many activities for the kids.
Yes definitely. They had tons for the kids to do.
Oh my goodness what fun you had! Reminds me of the orchards we used to visit when I was a kid growing up in Massachusetts. They don’t have anything like this where we live now. Such a shame!
They literally just opened this up so I was so excited.
This looks like such an amazing place to visit. My family would really enjoy themselves.
It was so much fun.
My daughters would love to visit! We are all so excited for fall weather and festivals!
Believe it or not, but I have never been to a corn maze before. But, I definitely want to go to one this fall!
Lol this was my first.
I’m still in such a summer mood but reading this makes me at least a bit excited for the fall weather 🙂 Your photos are lovely and your little one seems to be enjoying this day a lot!
Lol I totally understand the Summer mood.
We have something similar where we live. The kids always have a blast when we visit.
Ooh this looks like so much fun! I love going to a corn maze with may kids during the fall! I can’t wait to go with them this year!
I applaud you for finding a place that your overly-sensitive son could enjoy. That has been a huge concern for us, especially as we approach the fall and winter holiday season. I’m glad you all had a great time!
Thank you so much. It really can be tough that’s why I am super critical about it. It definitely worked out.
It looks like so much fun! We’d love to visit.
It was so much fun.
