Holiday traditions with LA LECHERA® Raise your hand if you’re one that is a full on sweets lover during the holidays. That’s totally me. I always love being in the kitchen during this time. Now, that I have my own family I am always bringing in some type of tradition that my mom and grandmother have instilled. That is when my mom started a tradition when it came to delicious desserts. I’ve always had to have one. Every year, for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve parties she makes the same thing. “Magic Bars” The NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk is the main ingredient and lets just say. We all love it! That is why I’ve always loved about going back to my mom’s house on Christmas Day. Holidays LA LECHERA® When you want something to share with your loved ones having a special recipe or drink is always one that will end up bringing them back. That is why I always love sharing this recipe my mom started making 5+ years ago. The main ingredient is NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® which is super sweet and rich but it’s also what binds this recipe together. From the creaminess when you first layer it on, to the actual gooeyness it gives, once the bars are actually done baking. Plus it helps bring everyone together. LA LECHERA® is the perfect ingredient to help you pamper your loved ones but also help you create an easy but delicious recipe that helps with my busy lifestyle as a Millennial mom. LA LECHERA®

When I was younger, my grandmother used to give us a cup of NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk and then we would stir in Chocolate quick to make an insane Chocolate Sugar Bomb Dessert! I LOVE IT! Such a great memory you just refreshed for me.
As for your Chocolate Coconut “Magic Bars” made with NESTLÉ® LA LECHERA® Sweetened Condensed Milk. They look amazing and easy for a knucklehead like me to make. Going to have to try them at Christmas. Thanks!

The recipe calls for 1 cup of butter/1 stick. The butter I buy is always 1 stick equals 1/2 cup. So, are we using 1 stick (1/2 cup) or 1 cup??
